I can barely see through the ashes flying around me. Your darkness still haunts me. Again, your true self pierced through my soul like a sharp knife.

I try to flee, to find the light but you always find me, with a cruel whip of icy wind across my cheek, leaving me shivering in the cold.

I am trapped in the dark with all the memories of your betrayal. My heart frozen and I cannot even muster a single tear to fall from my eyes.

I’m left scarred and jaded, but too cold to even care. I wish my heart would break to prove I am still alive, but nothing penetrates the frozen shell you created.
